Rental rates shown below are for all standard bookings/rentals of the William M Sobey Indoor Sports Complex playing field. This includes use of the field, locker rooms, and access to the public viewing area upstairs.

SPECIAL EVENTS

We can host banquets, meetings, private parties with tables/chairs and limited food facilities. Prices will vary for each event, so for rates for special events, meetings, multi-hour daytime rentals, or any other booking needs, call our facility manager Gary Matheson directly (902-754-0496).

For those looking to book the full complex for a full day, our standard rate is $1500/day + HST for basic rental. If additional services or equipment is needed, we will work with you to determine a cost for those.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Regular hours of operation are currently 9am to 11pm, 7 days a week, but bookings may be accommodated earlier or later.

RATES (Sept 1 2025 - Aug 31 2026)

The full turf field area is available for rentals from September to December. Rates for rentals during this period are shown below. ​​ Note that our rates are subject to change and are reviewed annually on April 1.

Rates for field rental during this period are shown below:

(Prime time is 4pm to 10:30pm weekdays and 8am to 10:30pm weekends; Non-Prime time is 8am to 4pm weekdays and 10:30pm to midnight every day)

Prime Time - Full Turf Field - $140/ hr

Non-Prime Time - Full Turf Field - $115/hr

NOTE: Full field rentals are available from October to May each year. During the months of June to September we normally only run our Highland Bingo (Mondays and Wednesday 6pm-10pm), occupying half the field. While this means a full field rental is not available these evenings and during the summer months, we can provide 1/2 field rentals during the daytimes (up to 5:30pm) - Give us a call is this opportunity might meet your needs!

If you are looking for a multi-day special event booking any time of the year contact us!. We would need at least 60 days lead time for any such events during our indoor season of November to May, but only 30 days during June to October.

All fees are charged HST (included in rates shown above), and are payable to Highland District Soccer Association. Additional charges may apply if extra staff assistance is required for activity set-up, teardown or activity supervision.
